Lead Development and Nurture Executive

Location: Winchester, Hampshire

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time

Job brief:

This role is primarily to execute lead development campaigns for our consulting and technology clients – both from a “cold” start where the company is not aware of our client, and from relationships established face to face at our sister events business – www.commerce-futures.com. We need the candidate to gain an appreciation for each project, understand the client’s proposition and target industry vertical markets, then (using the supporting services of our data and creative teams) make telephone introductions, build relationships and nurture them until such time as a meaningful face-to-face meeting can be arranged. BuyingTime has developed a structured process for making contact with senior managers, both from a cold start as well as when we are “nurturing”. You will be expected to follow this process, but add your own personal warmth as well as your natural communications skills, both to engage with secretaries and PA’s as well as to create meaningful dialogue with very senior business leaders.

  • To fully research each target individual and company prior to making contact

  • To represent our clients' businesses carefully and with integrity at all times, ensuring that their reputation is only enhanced through our activity

  • To generate the appropriate number of phone calls each day in order to drive engagement - our onus is firmly on the outcomes you create rather than on any set number of phone calls

  • To create accurate reporting on all aspects of the dialogue that you take part in - and to diligently follow-up at all times
