Happy Monday all, welcome to the front garden. It’s a little bit chilly today.

It’s just a quick one to say my newfound influencer status is in full flow as we can all probably see, which is very gratifying. It has made me wonder what the purpose of all of this sort of stuff is, and why ‘influence’ is important and what your voice is supposed to represent when you have one (and I appear to have one).

So I just wanted to sort of state the purpose of what I’m trying to do, really.

I think that as I get older and I find myself in a position where I don’t really have anybody to please, I don’t really mind who I offend if I do offend anybody. There’s enough work out there for us if we want it. There are millions of SaaS businesses that would like to hire us or could hire us.

Maybe none of them want to hire us… 

‍

Anyway, I think what I really should be talking about and representing is some common sense, some kindness, and some objectivity. That’s my place in this. If I can do that and kind of just reset a few thoughts every now and then, that’s really what I’m trying to do.
